Dog-friendly bars in London
Taprooms and railway-arch breweries are among the most consistently dog-welcoming venues in London, largely because their rooms are big, hard-floored and loud — a combination that suits some dogs and suits others badly.
Worth flagging for anyone with a nervous or reactive dog: the same qualities that make a taproom relaxed about admitting dogs — noise, crowding, hard acoustics — make it a difficult room for a dog that does not enjoy either. We note quiet alternatives where we have them.
