We could not find an official source stating the off-lead position here, so we are not stating one. Public Spaces Protection Orders are enforceable and carry fixed penalties — check the borough council’s current order before letting your dog off the lead.
CONFLICTING SOURCES. The Trust's own published byelaws require a dog to be led; Haringey's PSPO permits off-lead in parks larger than half a hectare. No modern park-wide dog policy statement was found.
On-lead areas: Trust byelaws prohibit taking into the park any dog not led by a chain or string or other sufficient fastening, and prohibit taking dogs into any enclosed place where notices prohibiting the admission of dogs are exhibited. Dogs may not swim in any lake or pond. Only registered assistance dogs are allowed at ticketed events.
A Public Spaces Protection Order applies here. Haringey operates a borough-wide Public Spaces Protection Order covering dog fouling, dogs on leads, areas where dogs cannot go and the maximum number of dogs that can be walked at one time. Whether it is applied to Trust-managed land is not confirmed.

FLAG FOR HUMAN REVIEW: the Trust's byelaws (made 31 May 1929, amended 1938) require dogs to be led, but Haringey's PSPO permits off-lead in parks over half a hectare and Alexandra Park is very widely used off-lead in practice. Off-lead status recorded as unverified pending an on-site signage check. East Court, Boathouse and Grove cafes; toilets and baby changing; several car parks, first 30 minutes free, Blue Badge holders free. Alexandra Palace station is a 10-minute walk.
