Off-lead rules
Off-lead in designated areas
There are plenty of areas where you can exercise your dog off the lead, but you need to do this in designated areas, and always clean up after your dog.
bromley.gov.ukChecked 19 July 2026
This is the evidence for off-lead rules at Crystal Palace Park dinosaurs and terraces. It was read from bromley.gov.uk on 19 July 2026.Bromley states there are plenty of areas where you can exercise your dog off the lead, but that this must be done in designated areas. No park-specific designation for Crystal Palace Park was published.
On-lead areas: Bromley's PSPO requires that, when outside the home, a dog must always be on a lead in the street and restricted areas and wear a collar.
A Public Spaces Protection Order applies here. Bromley's dog control PSPO was renewed from 1 September 2023 for three years and limits residents and professional dog walkers to a maximum of three dogs at any one time in a public place.

Notes
Note Bromley's three-dog limit is stricter than most London boroughs' four. The park has been under the management of the Crystal Palace Park Trust since 15 September 2023. Toilets include a Changing Places toilet; car parking is chargeable. Bromley's PSPO renewal beyond September 2026 is not verified. Coordinate from Wikipedia infobox.
