Off-lead allowed

Generally, dogs do not need to be kept on a lead in Hyde Park but it is the owner's responsibility to keep the dog under control.

On-lead areas: Dogs are not permitted at the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain, the Lido swimming area, the Serpentine Lake or the bowling green and tennis centre area. Dogs must be on leads in the Rose Garden and at the edge of the Serpentine Lake. In all Royal Parks dogs are excluded from children's playgrounds and toilets and must be on leads near roadways and near water.
