The National Trust permits dogs off lead within a designated area on the front lawn and requires a lead elsewhere in the park. UNVERIFIED BY DIRECT FETCH - nationaltrust.org.uk served a bot-challenge page.

On-lead areas: Dogs must be on a lead in the Stables Courtyard, Causeway, cafe and shop. Dogs are allowed in the formal garden only in the off-peak winter season until the beginning of March, on leads. Short lead around sheep; if cattle approach, let the dog off the lead and recall when safe.
